This role requires a blend of reactive and proactive tasks to ensure effective communication and support for our agents and customer service representatives, contributing to the overall success of the distribution team.

Responsibilities
The Client Services Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive support to our distribution team by addressing agent inquiries and proactively engaging with agents and customer service representatives. This role requires a blend of reactive and proactive tasks to ensure effective communication and support for our agents and customer service representatives, contributing to the overall success of the distribution team.
- Respond to agent inquiries received by BDM, UW, and the BSB information email.
- Provide timely and accurate answers regarding, Broker of Record (BOR) status, declination reasons, and portal functionality and troubleshooting.
- Maintain detailed records of all inquiries and responses to ensure consistency and follow-up.
- Initiate phone calls to agents and customer service representatives to:
- Follow up on open submission items to ensure timely processing.
- Follow up on open quotes to move them towards closure.
- Obtain feedback on services and identify areas for improvement.
- Strengthen relationships through regular touchpoints.
- Request new submissions to drive business growth.
- Document all interactions and updates in Salesforce to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Package and send promotional materials to agents as needed to support marketing efforts.
- Assist the Business Development Manager (BDM) in collecting data and preparing results reports to track performance and identify trends.
- Support the BDM in the agent appointment process, ensuring all necessary documentation and steps are completed.
- Regularly update marketing materials to reflect current offerings and promotions.
- Create and post content on LinkedIn and update the company website as needed to maintain an active online presence.
May perform other functions as assigned
- Prior experience in insurance is advantageous
- Experience in trucking insurance is beneficial
- Highly motivated and proactive
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Collaborative team player
- Capable of working independently
- Adaptable and able to pivot quickly
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms
