Responsibilities
The Senior Software Engineer will help deliver an innovative insurance experience for our clients by leveraging technology and our underwriter’s industry knowledge.
- Lead development efforts in a full-stack JavaScript and .NET environment
- Participate in an agile team environment
- Participate in technical design discussions

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Management Information Systems --or-- equivalent work experience
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to be a team player
- Ability to document, design, and develop technical solutions to solve business problems.
- Proven ability to write testable code
- Passion to automate repetitive tasks
- Self-motivated and direct, with ability to plan and prioritize work
- Proven experience as a full-stack engineer.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL and experience using an ORM (EF or Dapper)
- Familiarity with the Atlassian Stack
- Experience developing public-facing, high availability web applications
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience debugging code
- Proven experience with creating and maintaining meaningful integration and unit tests
- Fluent in JavaScript (Angular and TypeScript preferred)
- Fluent in C#/.NET development
- Experience troubleshooting multi-tier applications with micro services is preferred
- DevOps experience a plus
This role is based in our Overland Park, KS office. It is a full-time, in-office role.
