Responsibilities :
We have an opportunity for an Underwriting Assistant to join our team! You will provide policy administration support to our Jewelry Block and Fine Arts underwriting businesses. We will train in these areas.

Key functions include but are not limited to :
- Pre-underwriting / pre-qualification of New Business and Renewal risks
- Solicitation of additional information relative to submission from brokers
- Preparing Declination correspondence to broker when required
- Completion / updating data entry fields in our Workflow Management System
- Aid in the completion of Rating / Review Documents
- Completion of necessary fields in Underwriting System
- Limited Underwriting Authority for renewal business (within established guidelines)
- Tracking and follow-up of outstanding subjectivity items
