Responsibilities
Come join the Verus team as a summer intern! Our interns work with many different people to learn and gain hands on experience in underwriting. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in starting their career in insurance. We will be hiring between 4 and 5 interns to learn and grow in a cohort environment.
Interns are responsible for performing Underwriting related support duties while gaining valuable real-world experience which can be utilized both personally and professionally. Resume builder and stepping stone to a future career in the Insurance Industry.
- Assist with data entry
- Assist with projects
- Assist with project testing
- Assist with procedure testing
- Assist with task coordination
Qualifications
- Current college student (and or recent graduate) working towards a degree program in business, finance, insurance, risk management or Marketing/Sales.
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be willing to work collaboratively and embrace innovative ideas and processes
- Must be technology focused and proficient in the use of a computer and its applications

The actual salary for this position includes: Hourly: $20.00 per hour Hours per week: 30 Duration of internship: Monday, June 2, 2025 – Friday, Friday, August 8, 2025 (10 Weeks) As a temporary employee, you will likely not be eligible for Company Benefits under the terms of the applicable plans.
