Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our grocery store shelves are stocked and organized, providing an excellent shopping experience for our customers. You will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the store while assisting with inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Stock shelves with products, ensuring proper placement and rotation of items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor.
- Assist customers by providing information about products and answering inquiries.
- Operate cash registers as needed, processing customer transactions efficiently.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and assist with stock management.
- Load and unload products from delivery trucks, ensuring safe handling of items.
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move products throughout the store.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth stocking process and optimal customer service.
Skills
- Experience in stocking or working in a grocery store environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist customers effectively.
- Familiarity with cash register operations is a plus.
- Proficient in using RF scanners for inventory tracking.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area consistently.
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous for enhancing customer interactions.
- Experience in warehouse settings is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
