We are seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented Senior Client Service Accountant (SCSA) to join our multi-generational family office. This position is ideal for a seasoned accounting and finance professional with deep experience supporting high-net-worth individuals and families across complex personal, trust, and business structures.

You will be a strategic partner to our CFO, providing high-touch financial oversight, accounting expertise, and concierge-level client service. This role requires deep knowledge in financial operations, tax coordination, personal service support, and investment reporting. You’ll work closely with clients, their trusted advisors, and a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of financial, operational, and personal needs.


Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Accounting & Financial Oversight

  • Manage comprehensive accounting operations across a diverse portfolio of personal, business, and trust entities.
  • Maintain general ledgers (Sage Intacct or equivalent), perform reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, cash flow reports, and net worth statements tailored to client needs.
  • Monitor and manage approximately 100 bank and investment accounts (as applicable) with accuracy and discretion.

Accounts Payable & Cash Management

  • Oversee end-to-end accounts payable and vendor management using tools like Bill.com.
  • Administer personal and business credit card programs; ensure proper expense tracking and reporting.
  • Manage daily cash flow, initiate fund transfers, and cultivate strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.

Tax, Audit & Compliance Support

  • Liaise with external tax advisors to gather documentation and ensure accurate and timely compliance for personal, business, estate, and trust tax matters.
  • Assist with audit preparation and implementation of financial controls and compliance processes.

Investment & Performance Reporting

  • Create and maintain detailed investment performance reports, track asset allocation, capital activity, and investment returns across multi-asset portfolios.
  • Work with financial advisors and custodians to ensure accuracy in reporting and integration with financial plans.

Insurance & Risk Management

  • Evaluate and manage insurance coverage for clients' property, auto, umbrella, and specialty risks.
  • Support the claims process and maintain relationships with brokers to optimize coverage structures.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Strategic Planning

  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders in the preparation and ongoing management of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist in financial modeling for transactions, capital expenditures, or new ventures.

Concierge & Household Services

  • Coordinate household operations including staffing, payroll support, vendor contracts, and bespoke personal requests with utmost confidentiality and professionalism.

Human Resource & Operational Support

  • Provide HR coordination for household or entity staff including payroll, compliance, benefits tracking, and employee relations support as needed.


Qualifications & Credentials

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s in Taxation preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required; CFP® or PFS designation a strong plus.
  • 8–15 years of experience in a family office, wealth management firm, or financial services company supporting high-net-worth individuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (advanced Excel required), Sage Intacct, and Bill.com.
  • Strong understanding of personal finance, estate planning structures, tax principles, and investment reporting.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills with a client-focused, solution-oriented mindset.
  • High ethical standards, impeccable discretion, and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Florida Notary Public and Series 7/66 (inactive acceptable) are advantageous.
