Berks Career and Technology Center (BCTC) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Adult and Continuing Education to lead and manage our Continuing Education department. This role oversees all aspects of adult education, including daytime and evening programs, as well as the Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) program. Additionally, the Director serves as the administrative liaison to CareerLink and other local agencies, ensuring effective management of workforce development funds that subsidize tuition costs.

The Director will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing industry partnerships that generate revenue, increase program visibility, and provide value to both students and business partners.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing initiatives to promote workforce development, conducting needs assessments, and leading large-scale outreach efforts such as information sessions and presentations. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative leader to drive the growth and success of BCTC’s Adult and Continuing Education programs.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, or related field.
Five plus years of experience as a department supervisor.
Experience in adult education workforce development, or career and technical education.
Skills & Competencies :
Working knowledge of the Workforce Investment Act and related local, state, and federal regulations preferred.
Knowledge of Berks County workforce needs and related agencies preferred.
Experience in technical program development, curriculum, and assessment preferred.
Strong ability to build relationships with educators and employers.
