Summary of position:
The Health and Nutrition Services Supervisor coordinates the effective implementation of the Medical, Nutritional, Physical, and Mental Health Component areas of the program.

Job Responsibilities (see attached job description for additional details):

• Implement, oversee, and ensure compliance of the Medical, Physical, and Mental Health services components of the program as prescribed in the Head Start Performance Standards and other pertinent regulations.
• Participate as member of Head Start management team, providing leadership in area of expertise, fulfilling program planning and monitoring functions.
• Participate in the planning process and facilitate implementation of agency goals and objectives.
• Participate in developing policies, procedures, and forms.
• Develop priorities, direction, and focus for the assigned area of expertise in conjunction with other staff as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Significant experience/knowledge in understanding community systems & programs and the ability to navigate/access them with families.
• Knowledge of Behavioral Health system and available Disability services.
• Participation in Head Start or Early Head Start preferred.
• Proficient with basic computer skills and web-based systems.

Schedule:
Full-time, 12 months/year

Salary:
Beginning at $59,955.76/year (salary based on education level) Per Head Start Salary Scale
