Responsibilities
- Oversee the finance department's daily operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with TILA regulations.
- Manage the loan processing workflow, including evaluating loan applications and making informed decisions on creditworthiness.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop financing solutions that meet customer needs while maximizing dealership profitability.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights into business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure contracts are processed accurately and efficiently, maintaining thorough documentation throughout the process.
- Utilize financial software for data entry, reporting, and analysis; ensure all records are maintained accurately using 10 key typing skills.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in finance management, loan processing, and upselling techniques to enhance customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role within a dealership or financial institution.
- Strong mathematical skills with an emphasis on analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with loan officer responsibilities and knowledge of the loan processing lifecycle.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively across departments, particularly in sales environments.
- Proficient in financial software applications; experience with data entry and reporting tools is essential.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
