Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Shop Foreman to oversee and lead the operations of our busy auto repair shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, leadership experience, and a passion for delivering top-tier customer service. As the Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising technicians, ensuring quality standards are met, and helping maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Job Responsibilities
· Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the automotive repair shop.
· Lead, train, and mentor a team of technicians, ensuring they meet or exceed performance expectations.
· Oversee vehicle repairs and ensure all jobs are completed in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
· Communicate with customers and provide updates on repair progress, cost estimates, and completion times.
· Perform diagnostic tests, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed, especially for complex issues.
· Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order and comply with safety standards.
· Monitor shop inventory
· Assist in managing shop schedules, ensuring efficient workflows and minimal downtime.
· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
· Review repair orders, provide technical support, and ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
Pay Range.
$35-$45 per hour

Berkshires BMW/AUDI/VW, Pittsfield, MA
Required Experience
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive repair industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
· ASE certification preferred or equivalent experience.
· Strong technical knowledge in automotive repair and diagnostics.
· Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians.
· Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
· Ability to read and interpret repair orders and service manuals.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
· Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
