We are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Director to lead and streamline operations across our network of 40 distribution centers and warehouses nationwide. As a vital member of our executive management team, this role demands exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and operational expertise to drive consistency, efficiency, and results across all facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of developing and implementing standard operating procedures, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and leading high-performing teams. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless coordination of logistics and warehouse operations while adhering to safety and compliance regulations.

This position is based in our Novi, MI facility, so only candidates residing in the Metro Detroit area will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Position Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across all 40 warehouse locations.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs to drive results, improve performance, and achieve operational goals.
- Lead and manage warehouse teams with diverse skill sets, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and creating a culture of accountability.
- Oversee inventory control measures, conducting regular physical inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Investigate operational issues, such as inventory discrepancies and shipping errors, using root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve reporting, optimize processes, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Implement and maintain robust training programs for warehouse procedures, processes, and products.
- Manage warehouse equipment, including forklifts, material handling systems, and barcode scanners.
- Ensure all warehouses comply with OSHA and safety regulations to provide a secure work environment.
- Conduct regular audits to assess warehouse space utilization, productivity, and quality assurance.
- Develop hiring forecasts and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet staffing needs.
- Participate in strategic planning discussions with leadership to review productivity, loss prevention, and growth opportunities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 years of warehouse experience, with at least 5 years in management roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in ERP and WMS systems.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience in motivating teams to achieve performance goals.
- Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities to optimize warehouse operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across departments.
- Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.).
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
