Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse supports the nursing process and functions under the direction of the Medical Director, Mid-level Provider, and/or Clinical Manager. The Licensed Practical Nurse must adhere to policy and procedure for Berkshire Medical Center and Berkshire Faculty Services clinical services.
Experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing Has a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures. Experience in Urgent Care, phlebotomy, specimen testing, IV therapy preferred.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
License & Certifications
- LPN - Licensed Practical Nurses
Additional Requirements
- Demonstrates continuing education in accordance with State regulations. Assures compliance with unit-specific scope of practice.
- Data entry skills preferred.
- Working knowledge of Windows based PC applications required.
- Ability to work independently and take direction. Self- motivated and ability to be independent and flexible in a team framework.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Schedule
- Hours: 8am-8pm
- Rotating Holidays
- Rotating Weekends
