Responsibilities:
- The Clinical Lead is the clinical leader for one of our Primary Care Practices of Berkshire Faculty Service (BFS).
- The Clinical Lead’s overall function is to be a clinical partner for implementation of action plans to meet access, service & quality standards, drive clinical alignment & development of the practice and monitor & conduct crucial conversations with providers not adhering to organizational expectations.
- In addition to administrative responsibilities (0.05 FTE), the Clinical Lead is primarily a practicing clinician (~0.95 FTE) that models professionalism amongst peers.
Experience:
- Previous leadership experience in medical setting and experience in clinical performance evaluation is preferred but not required
- A strong record as a respected clinician and collaborator between full time faculty and physicians
- Demonstrated ability/interest in effectively leading a provider group and/or large organizational initiatives
Direct Reports:
- The Clinical Lead will be responsible for managing all employed providers and enabling BFS strategies within their practices. The Clinical Lead have the Practice Manager as their dyad and will report directly to the Medical Director of Primary Care.
Meeting & Accountability Structure:
The Clinical Lead will be expected to attend and actively participate in the following accountability and governance meetings. Standard meeting agendas will be provided for each meeting, and it will be the responsibility of the meeting owners to populate and distribute agendas and action plans upward and across governance.
- Monthly completion of Practice dyad monthly KPI reviews/action plans
- Communication up with Director Dyad with all monthly practice updates
- Attendance and Participation in monthly Cross Practice Director Dyad Meetings
- Attendance and Participation in daily/weekly Practice Operations Meetings
