About the Role:
The Swim Lessons Instructor will play a crucial role in teaching individuals of all ages how to swim safely and effectively. This position involves developing personalized lesson plans that cater to the unique needs and skill levels of each student, ensuring a supportive and encouraging learning environment. Instructors will be responsible for assessing students' progress and providing constructive feedback to help them improve their swimming techniques. The ultimate goal is to instill confidence in students while promoting water safety and enjoyment. By fostering a positive atmosphere, the instructor will contribute to the overall success of the swim program and the well-being of the community.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Experience in teaching swimming or a related field.
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swimming techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lifeguard certification.
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs.
- Additional certifications in swim instruction or coaching.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct swim lessons for individuals and groups of varying skill levels.
