Security Specialist 1

4 years related work experience.

• Good computer skills, with demonstrated ability to use various software applications, including access control systems.
• Knowledge and experience dealing with specific issues in providing security at an energy company with a critical infrastructure environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers, external customers, and first responders.
• Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions.
• Ability to interpret 33CFR 105 maritime regulations.
  
  

Security Specialist 2

6 years related work experience.

Security Specialist 3

8 years related work experience.

• Good computer skills, with demonstrated ability to use software applications, including MS Office and access control systems.
• Knowledge and experience dealing with issues of providing security at an energy company with a critical infrastructure environment.
• Ability to coordinate processes and provide leadership in team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers, external customers, and first responders.
• Ability to conduct structured interviews with internal and external customers.
• Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions.
• Ability to understand and interpret 33CFR 105 maritime regulations.
  
  

Education

Associate (Typically two years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess an associate's degree.)

Security Specialist 1

Security Specialist 1

• Ensures compliance with regulatory and company access requirements for employees, contractors, and visitors to assigned facilities.
• Provides consultation and advice to corporate security regarding suitability for contractor employment and access to assigned company facilities.
• Maintains databases to support security programs.
• Manages electronic access control systems.
• Monitors and facilitates response for automated alarm systems at assigned locations.
• Manages emergency notification procedures, in accordance with company and regulatory response plans. Assist with development and implementation of security plans and incident response procedures.
• Controls personnel, vehicle, package, and cargo access to assigned company facilities, in accordance with company policy, security procedures, and regulatory responsibilities.
• Coordinates with management to oversee contract guard services at assigned company facilities.
• Security incident response and management. Serves as primary response for all emergency contingencies at assigned facilities, to include natural disasters and work stoppages.
• Performs Facility Security Officer duties in the absence of the designated Facility Security Officer.
• Conducting regular security assessments, audits and inspections. Representing the company during regulatory inspections, audits, and meetings.

• Provides leadership in ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements for employees, contractors and visitor access to assigned facilities.
• Serves as the Facility Security Officer.
• Conducts security audits and inspections.
• Maintains databases to support security programs.
• Manages electronic access control systems.
• Monitors and facilitates response for automated alarm systems.
• Manages emergency notification procedures in accordance with company response plans. Develops and implements security plans and incident response procedures.
• Supporting the develop and implementation of security mitigation and remediation strategies.
• Conducting regular security assessments, audits and inspections. Representing the company during regulatory inspections, audits, and meetings.
• Controls personnel vehicle package and cargo access to company facilities in accordance with company policy and security procedures.
• Coordinates with management to oversee contract guard services at company facilities.
• Security incident response and management. Serves as primary response to emergency contingencies at assigned facilities to include natural disasters and work stoppage.
• Conducting regular security assessments, audits and inspections. Representing the company during regulatory inspections, audits, and meetings.
