- Investigating losses and determining coverage while providing superior customer service
- Obtaining and reviewing evidence, reports, and records
- Establishing damages and reserves
- Processing payments
- Taking statements from insureds and witnesses
- Evaluating policies and contract language to identify coverage issues
- Drafting no coverage letters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize
- The ability to make decisions independently and to multitask
- Prior experience adjusting property claims is preferred, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred but a High School Diploma or GED is required
- If not already licensed, must be able to successfully pass Texas Adjuster licensing exam upon hire and to obtain and maintain any other adjuster licenses as required
