Responsibilities
As a QA Analyst at GUARD, you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment working with software developers and business analysts to test and deploy business processes throughout the organization. You will be a key member of our team that ensures delivery of a quality product that meets requirements.
Responsibilities:
The QA Analyst will develop and execute tests that detect system problems. Activities include Requirements Analysis, Test Planning, Design, and Execution of tests, Defect Management and status reporting. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with Development and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues. May participate in software design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, operational characteristics, product design, and schedules. Qualifications
Technical Skills (Required):
- Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years as an IT QA Analyst.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience working in an Agile/ScaledAgile team.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Ability to create Test Plans, Test Cases, and Data Analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Testing Industry best practices and testing techniques.
- Critical and Analytical thinking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Experience working with Test Management software.
Other skills (Preferred):
- ISTQB Certification, Foundation Level Testing (CTFL).
- Experience working in the insurance industry.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Experience testing cloud enabled software.
- Experience with test automation frameworks.
This position is hybrid with three days in the office per week.
Locations include Philadelphia PA, Parsippany, NJ, or the home office in Wilkes-Barre PA
