Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies, Workers Compensation Division, has openings for Law Clerks! This is a full-time opportunity during Summer break, continuing part-time during school year. This opening provides current law students an opportunity to gain practical, hands-on, in-house legal experience within the insurance industry. The successful candidate will have the unique experience of partnering one-on-one with our Senior Corporate Counsel, while gaining exposure to all facets of our company, and receive visibility with various members of our executive leadership team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Senior Corporate Counsel with legal research, analysis and document review
- Assist Senior Corporate Counsel in the preparation of memoranda, position statements, contracts and agreements, including master services, licensing, professional services and vendor agreements
- Special projects as assigned
