Job Summary
The Endoscopy Inventory Specialist will have primary responsibility to maintain all Endoscopy supplies and inventory with the assistance of the Clinical Team Leader and Director of Endoscopy. The Inventory Specialist will perform daily ordering of supplies according to PAR levels and trends. The Inventory Specialist will ensure accurate documentation for supply use. In addition, he/she will follow up and identify noncompliant use to the Endoscopy Director. The Inventory Specialist will provide reports and data as needed to the Director of Endoscopy and ensures that scopes are maintained, sent for repair as needed and are tracked for their return and controls the scheduling of representative visits and new product trials. The Inventory Specialist will perform procedure billing and ensure accurate documentation for supply use, and documentation is complete to enable chart to be closed for billing.
Experience
- Minimum of two years Material Management experience in Surgical Services preferred.
Education
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Associates degree preferred.
License & Certification
- CPR
Additional Requirements
- Computer training in inventory management preferred.
- Proficient use of Meditech.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of Endoscopy supplies and equipment.
- Ability to perform effectively in stressful situations.
- Demonstrated professional communications skills with other members of the healthcare team.
- Possesses and demonstrates excellent organizational skills necessary to complete tasks accurately and concurrently.

- 6:30a-3p or 7a-3:30p
