Job Summary
This role coordinates patient transportation based on triage of emergency and non-emergency requests across all three hospitals (BMC, NARH, FVH).
Experience
Two years of in-field clinical experience as an EMT required; paramedic preferred.
Education
- High-school degree required.
License & Certifications
- Current Massachusetts EMT card required.
- National Registered EMT preferred.
- Massachusetts IFT Paramedic required.
- BLS required.
- CPR required.
- ACLS preferred.
- PALS preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Medical Terminology required.
- Knowledge of insurance prior authorization required.
- General office skills required.
- Strong independent management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- High level of flexibility.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft office.

Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- Hours: 11:00am-7:30pm; may need to work 12:00pm-8:30pm based on department needs
