Job Summary
This role is responsible for the medical record processing of hte patient records as assigned. This is a key role in the department which interacts with various departmental and hospital personnel.
Experience
- One year of office experience is required.
- One year of medical records experience is preferred.
- Experience with terminal digit filing preferred.
Education
- High school graduate required.
Additional Requirements
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Ability to work productively and handle interruptions efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly and with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people.
- Demonstrated ability to pay attention to details.
- Good knowledge of medical terminology.
- No work history indicating breach of confidentiality.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
- Willing to learn new tasks related to medical records.
- Familiarity with computers, word processing, good typing skills.
- Basic computer skills.
Schedule:
- Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm
- Monday-Friday
