Job Summary
The Emergency Dept. Patient/Family Liaison functions in a complimentary or assistive role to the Registered Professional Nurse. • To improve the Emergency Dept. patients satisfaction with their episode of care in the Emergency Dept. This will be achieved by facilitating communication between patients, their families or significant others, and the healthcare providers. Emphasis will also be placed on attending to the needs of patients and their families.
Experience
- Patient care or patient relations experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
- Minimum of one year required.
- Computer skills required.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent.
License & Certifications
- CPR certification is required
Schedule:
- Hours: 3:00pm-11:30pm
- Schedule: Sun, Thurs, Fri
