Are you an RN (Registered Nurse) / LPN(Licensed Practical Nurse) Unit Manager looking for a rewarding Unit Manager career in Providence ? We are seeking a dedicated RN (Registered Nurse) / LPN(Licensed Practical Nurse) Unit Manager to help us deliver outstanding care to our residents.
Your Role as an RN (Registered Nurse) / LPN(Licensed Practical Nurse) Unit Manager :
The RN (Registered Nurse) / LPN(Licensed Practical Nurse) Unit Manager is responsible for the 24 hours a day, seven days a week management of a nursing unit. Responsibilities include the planning, assignments, implementations and evaluations of direct resident care on unit including the training and supervision of staff, communication with physicians, family members and staff. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations governing Long Term Care facility operations.
What You Need :
Holds a current nursing license in the state of Rhode Island (or compact state)
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Three years experience preferred working in long term care
A comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices and procedures; administration of medications and possible side effects; knowledge of federal and state regulations relating to resident care and rights
