Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and passionate Orthodontic Assistant to join our team!. The successful candidate will work closely with our Orthodontists, providing top-tier patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering superior oral health services.

Responsibilities:
1. Assisting Orthodontists during a variety of treatment procedures.
2. Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays).
3. Managing orthodontic and patient records, photographs, and digital x-rays.
4. Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
5. Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
6. Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling).
7. Conducting preliminary assessments of oral health conditions in patients to help determine appropriate orthodontic treatment plans.
8. Providing support in administrative tasks such as scheduling and confirming appointments, receiving patients, keeping treatment records, and participating in our marketing teams.
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Orthodontic Assistant.
3. Current licensure as an Orthodontic Assistant.
4. Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Exceptional communication and patient management skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
7. Strong knowledge of dental procedures, controls, and practices.
8. Ability to build rapport with patients and provide excellent patient care.
9. Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
10. Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute positively to team dynamics.
