If so, we want to talk with you! Berlon Industries is a locally owned & operated manufacturer and distributor of highly durable buckets and attachments for skid steers, tractor loaders, compact utility tractors, wheel loaders and tele-handlers, located in Hustisford, WI.
We are looking to hire a combination inside/outside Territory Sales Manager for our Berlon, Lowe and Rock Solid Attachment brands.. We are looking for an individual that demonstrates exceptional sales skills while realizing the importance of customer service. The ideal candidate would have sales experience in the skid loader attachment industry, but don't let that deter you. We will train the ideal candidate on how to match customer inquiries with our products!
Responsibilities for Territory Sales Manager
- Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of dealer.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying the existing and potential volume of each dealer.
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Overnight travel is required
Qualifications for Territory Sales Manager
- 3-5 years of sales experience
- Basic knowledge of skidloaders and the Ag/construction/rental industry preferred
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
- Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of CRM systems
Compensation for Territory Sales Manager
· Small base plus commission from an established customer base in a strong region plus growth opportunity to expand. Estimated starting total comp $80k/year
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
