Job Description
Job Title: Porter Manager
Location: Berman Subaru of Chicago
Schedule: Monday-Saturday 8AM-5PM (Sundays & 1 Weekday Off)
Pay: $55,000-$60,000 Based on experience
Prior Porter Manager or Managerial Experience, required.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and delegate tasks to the entire sales and service porter team
- Monitor the performance of porters, providing feedback and guidance to maintain high standards of work
- Ensure vehicle transportation, lot organization, and preparation of vehicles for delivery are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist with the physical transportation of vehicles within the dealership’s lot and service area
- Ensure all vehicles are parked correctly, minimizing damage and optimizing the dealership's space for customer access and vehicle movement
- Create and maintain daily schedules for the porter team, ensuring appropriate coverage for all responsibilities throughout the day
- Perform interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles
- Ensure the dealership’s interior and exterior are always clean, organized, and presentable
- Oversee the cleaning and upkeep of the showroom and customer areas, making sure the environment is welcoming and professional

Qualifications
- Managerial experience, required. Porter Manager experience, preferred.
- Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality eagerness to improve
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
- Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record (3 year minimum)
- Must be willing to submit a background screening
