What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Manager position at Berman Skin Institute?
The Area Manager will demonstrate innovation that creates world class service, training programs, financial performance, and administrative excellence at each practice they manage. The individual will develop ideas and approaches that bring value to the patients and practice. Provide leadership regarding new initiatives. that lead to increased patient experience and increased EBITA. Take the lead implementing initiatives.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for meeting the forecasted encounters, revenue and other KPIs
- Supervision and development of Office Managers in leading practice staff and managing patient experience.
- Review all expenses.
- Development and implementation of new revenue streams and critical operational processes.
- Final evaluation of practice job applicants in conjunction with Office Managers.
- Assist marketing with targeting retention and encounter growth.
- Assist with training staff at new centers.
- Assist Office Manager with meetings and assist at Regional Director/Vice President with Meetings.
- Responsible for results and leading at least three practice locations.
- Problem solves, develop solutions and serve as a resource for revenue cycle management, finance, operational, information technology and human resources. All other duties as assigned

Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to manage and resolve conflict.
- Proficiency with critical thinking.
- Computer proficiency in Windows based software.
- Workflow management and process improvement.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs).
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- EDUCATION: Minimum of a high school diploma is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- EXPERIENCE: 3 - 5 years of management experience in medical practice management.
- Must have experience managing multiple locations.
- Experience in Dermatology, Med-spa field.
