Heavy Duty Truck Salesperson
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: Salary plus Commission (high earning potential annually)

Berman Truck Group requires:
Minimum 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination
Valid Driver’s License required; must meet company insurability standards
Maintain or willingness obtain a CDL
Maintains a professional appearance representing the company
All positions are subject to a drug screen and background screen.
Essential Duties:
- Create sales strategy and determine yearly unit sales projections, meet and exceed unit objectives
- Lead the sales effort within Identify the decision-makers at target customers
- Develop relationships via cold-calling, salesperson interaction, referrals, introductions from industry stakeholders, trade shows, and OEM leads.
- Provides follow-up and ongoing service to existing customers.
- Writes complete and accurate sales orders, secures deposits, and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies
- Delivers new trucks, explaining new-truck warranty, technology systems and service policies.
- Uses all reasonable methods of prospecting for new-and used-truck customers on a daily basis, either by telephone or by making calls to individuals and businesses outside the dealership. Promote financing packages to qualified customers
- Continuous training, studies truck and equipment specifications to improve knowledge of product performance and application continually.
- Coordinate and lead product demonstrations for new and used trucks to customer.
- Collaborate with marketing to create and evaluate the most effective campaign messaging for specific products, service and market segments.
- Utilize market data and intelligence to guide sales strategies.
- Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the sale of new and used medium-and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Offers service to all walk-in and call-in customers on assigned floor days.
- Assists customers in selecting/ordering trucks by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Appraises used trucks when necessary.
- Collects accurate and complete financial data on customers when necessary.
