Job description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented accounts receivable / collector to join our accounting team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the accounts receivable process, monitor outstanding balances, and ensure timely collection of payments. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a proven track record of reducing delinquencies and improving cash flow.

Key Responsibilities :
Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and follow up with customers to collect outstanding balances.
Resolve billing discrepancies or disputes by coordinating with the sales and customer service teams.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information, payment terms, and credit limits.
Prepare and send regular statements of account to customers.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding account balances, payment terms, and billing issues.
Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate action.
Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status, collections, and cash flow projections to management.
Requirements :
Proven work experience as an accounts receivable / collector or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounts receivable principles, practices, and procedures.
Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
