Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils, adhering to company standards and health department regulations.
- Assist cooks as needed in kitchen and serving areas.
- Perform kitchen cleaning duties, including dish washing area, floors, walls, equipment, storage areas, prep areas, outside receiving and dumpster areas.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
- Must understand and follow therapeutic diet orders for residents when serving food.
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member and individually.
- Must meet all health requirements.
