APP - Critical Access/Rural Health – Fort Benton, MT (experienced required)
Benefis Missouri River Medical Center in beautiful, historic Fort Benton, Montana has an opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team. We offer competitive compensation, great benefits, and an adventurous Montana lifestyle!
Our campus encompasses a 25-bed critical access hospital, a family practice clinic, an intermediate care and emergency room, eye clinic, physical therapy, full-service laboratory and radiology with state-of-the-art technology, as well as home visiting nurse services and partnership with Peace Hospice of Montana. Our critical access hospital is dedicated to the highest level of independence and quality of life for those that make Benefis Missouri River Medical Center their home.
Schedule, Compensation and Benefits:
- Full time employed position
- Providers work in a family practice clinic and share call in partnership with 1 MD and 3 APCs
- 4 days in clinic per week
- 1 night ER call per week
- 1 ER call weekend per month
- Average of 2.3 ER calls per day
- Family Practice clinic experience preferred, ER experience required
- ACLS and ATLS evidence of training is required with certification preferred
- Transfers available to our large tertiary center in Great Falls Montana (Benefis Health System)
- Approximately 50 minutes by car/ambulance (42 miles)
- Great Falls has a fixed wing and rotor wing for urgent/emergent patient transfers
- Direct provider call in line to 24/7 emergency operator
- Available specialties include Urology, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, ENT, Plastics, Pulmonology, Neurology, Gastroenterology and a regional cancer institute

- BMRMC is owned by Benefis Health System – a financially stable, stand alone, community system with great financial support
- Providers receive a guaranteed base salary with annual bonus opportunities
- Sign-on bonus/relocation assistance
- $5,000 CME and $1,000 licensure/dues annually
- Retirement 5% match
