Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Director of Website Experience to lead the development, marketing, and operational strategies of their digital platforms. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to manage and enhance multiple distinct websites, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience that aligns with their brand's excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Oversee the comprehensive digital strategy for all company websites, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand standards.
- Project Management: Lead website development projects from conception through execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within scope.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a diverse team, including the Director of SEO and 10 other professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- User Experience Optimization: Implement UX/UI best practices to enhance user engagement, accessibility, and overall satisfaction across all digital platforms.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, marketers, and engineers to ensure a cohesive and seamless online experience that supports marketing campaigns and operational goals.
- Agile Methodology Implementation: Apply Agile principles to manage workflows, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to evolving business needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and other key stakeholders, effectively communicating digital strategies and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- 7 years of experience in product management, digital marketing, or digital strategy, with a proven track record of leading successful website projects.
- In-depth knowledge of UX/UI best practices and a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, with excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and a solid understanding of software development processes.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a talent for addressing complex business challenges through innovative digital solutions.
- Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly and facilitate workshops effectively.
- Strong business acumen combined with technical aptitude, enabling effective decision-making and strategy development.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and negotiate effectively to meet deadlines.
