The Research Editor will be responsible for verifying the accuracy, fairness, and suitability of all editorial material published in a national publication and special magazine projects. The role involves fact-checking articles, captions, and other content to ensure credibility and accuracy, while working closely with editors, writers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :
- Verify and substantiate all statements of fact, data, historical information, and identities in editorial content using reputable sources.
- Work collaboratively with editors, writers, photographers, legal teams, and subject matter experts.
- Communicate with specialists in government agencies, academic institutions, and industries to confirm facts.
- Identify factual inconsistencies and suggest revisions while preserving the writer’s tone and style.
- Demonstrate keen attention to detail, recognizing nuances and implications within the text.
- Anticipate research needs and proactively address legal concerns such as liability, bias, plagiarism, and copyright issues.
