What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bakery Utility Operator - 2nd position at Bernatello's?
Key Benefits:
- Hourly Range: $22-$24

Responsibilities:
- Follow all GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, and SQF rules
- Understand the role of the Line Lead and Mixer and work as their first backup
- Understand and can perform all positions in the bakery
- Set up the line and equipment
- Safely and efficiently operates and troubleshoot machines and equipment
- Follow a cleaning schedule
- Change flour stock according to schedule
- Mix ingredients following a strict recipe, establish and document lot numbers of blends.
- Report any major maintenance problems by completing a work order and submitting to maintenance
- Unload bulk flour trucks when necessary
- Maintain communication with all bakery team members and the Line Lead
- Use raw materials based on FIFO
- Monitor product for good quality
- Follow all safety guidelines
- Fill in for any bakery position when necessary
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, and understand through verbal and written English instructions
- Attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and exhibit a sense of urgency while maintaining excellent productivity goals and quality product
- Must be 18 years of age or older
