Bernens is a multi-service pharmacy and medical supply store located on the west side of Cincinnati. We provide a wide range of healthcare services, which include pharmacy services, compounding, vaccinations, durable medical equipment (DME), wound care products, incontinence supplies, ostomy/urological, orthopedic support, therapeutic compression garments, etc. We also provide local delivery with our own in-house delivery crew.

Delivery Technician
Bernens Medical & Pharmacy is seeking a Delivery Technician that will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of medical equipment and pharmacy products to patient’s homes, healthcare facilities, and clinics. Your role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive the necessary supplies to support their health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Operations:
- Drive a company van and make home deliveries of durable medical equipment (DME), supplies, and prescription drugs.
- Load and unload equipment and supplies, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for efficiency and timeliness.
- Maintain an organized schedule to ensure all deliveries are completed on time.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Educate patients or caregivers on the proper use of delivered equipment when necessary.
- Use our delivery system by smartphone.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, receipts, and inventory counts.
- Report any delivery issues or discrepancies to management promptly.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 21 years of age.
- Clean criminal background check
- Pre-hire and random drug and alcohol screening (12 panel screen including THC)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a delivery role, preferably in healthcare or medical equipment, is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to [specific weight, e.g., 100 lbs]).
- Basic knowledge of medical equipment and pharmacy products is preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
