Description:
The Construction Field Representative reports to the Vice President and participates in the construction administration of multiple small and mid-sized projects so each can be completed in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities:
§ Manage and report the day-to-day construction processes related to the interpretation and implementation of Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing drawings.
§ Communicate effectively using email, text, construction programs, data entry, and form processing.
§ Attend pre-construction and construction job-site meetings, coordinate construction documents, process pay applications, and post meeting notes.
§ Assist in processing design-related construction phase documentation, review of shop drawings, preparation of field notes, and punch lists.
§ Act as a representative of the firm as well as the client served.
§ Mediate issues, clarify questions, and keep team apprised of project concerns.
§ Travel to various jobsites.
Education & Experience Requirements:
§ Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Construction, Architecture or Engineering field, required.
§ Ability to read and comprehend plans and specifications, required.
§ Healthcare experience, preferred.
§ General computer skills, required.
§ Knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams), Revit and AutoCAD, preferred.
§ Knowledge of construction management software (i.e. e-builder, Procore, Newforma), preferred.

Physical Demands:
§ Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
§ Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
§ Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
§ Occasional travel may be required.
§ Occasionally required to stand; walk; climb, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
