SUMMARY: The Production and Shipping Specialist is responsible for communicating with our vendors and teams overseas in order to obtain the necessary information required to maintain the Casegoods Division’s shipping and production schedules up-to-date, among other tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Track productions and shipments with all vendors to ensure on time deliveries.
- Work closely and support the traffic department with the shipping documentation and product delivery information, especially from Mexico.
- Create, maintain and storage weekly, monthly, and annual metrics for executive management.
- Compile, organize and disseminate information for vendors such as Performance, Report Cards, Delays, etc.
- Manage and maintain information for different compliance programs.
- Administrate relevant information for key accounts.
- Closely track new introductions deliveries.
- Track and pursue Spare Parts replacements.
- Manage and maintain records and certificates for TSCA compliance.
- Manage and schedule meetings with vendors for market.
- Back-up resource for other team members, as necessary.
- Must be extremely versed in the creation of spreadsheets and manipulation of same.
- Other duties as necessary.
- High school graduation.
- Ability to communicate with customers, internally and externally via email or by telephone.
- MUST be detail oriented.
- Possess solid computer skills (proficient in Word and Excel) and experience with an ERP system.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
