Key Responsibilities:
- Quoting Support:
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of requests for quotes (RFQs) to suppliers and customers.
- Gather and analyze supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing and terms.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of supplier quotes and related documentation.
- Sourcing Coordination:
- Support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers in collaboration with the sourcing team.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and supplier capabilities.
- Supplier and Customer Relationship Management:
- Coordinate communications between customers and suppliers.
- Assist in negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies.
- Record Keeping and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of supplier information, quotes, and contracts in Airtable.
- Prepare regular reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in all procurement records.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Assist in identifying and mitigating risks associated with supplier relationships.
- Support the implementation of best practices for ethical sourcing and procurement.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the Operations and Sourcing Manager, including scheduling meetings and preparing documentation.
- Assist in coordinating supplier visits and audits.
- Support the onboarding of new suppliers and ensure all required documentation is complete.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement and quoting software and tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in the industry specific to the company's operations.
- Knowledge of procurement and quoting processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with international sourcing and global supply chain management.
