ABOUT A BOX TRUCK DRIVER: "Typical day" "What you're getting into"
Our Box Truck Drivers work in-town, local area routes and are scheduled four, 10-hour, workdays throughout the week. Drivers begin their day delivering product early in the morning and until the route is complete, allowing them to be home safe with their family every night. Our team members will learn something new or at least look at things differently every day. Expect a strong team atmosphere while also being able to set individual goals as well. ABOUT A BOX TRUCK DRIVER: "Typical day" "What you're getting into"
Our Box Truck Drivers work in-town, local area routes and are scheduled four, 10-hour, workdays throughout the week. Drivers begin their day delivering product early in the morning and until the route is complete, allowing them to be home safe with their family every night. Our team members will learn something new or at least look at things differently every day. Expect a strong team atmosphere while also being able to set individual goals as well. We not only want you to grow with us; we want you to help us grow too! Strong candidates have/are able to:
- Valid Class D Driver's License
- Driving record which meets Bernick's standard
- Transport and unload pop, beer, and other products
- Rotate and merchandise beverages at customer accounts
- Provide exceptional customer service to Bernick's customers
- Lift and move product weighing 50-165 pounds (won't need to go to the gym anymore)
- Bend, lift and twist, while moving product off the truck
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, PHYSICAL environment... always moving! (And not sitting at a desk all day)
- Can work independently and as a team
- Stay motivated and have a positive attitude
- Effectively communicate and work hard... go beyond expectations!
- 4-Day Work Week (no weekends)
- Typically 5 - 6am - route completion
- Most routes are Tuesday - Friday, some schedules vary
