Job Summary:
This position is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications.
Essential Duties:
- System Management: Install, configure, and maintain servers, including database, domain controllers, and file servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Network Administration: Manage and monitor network infrastructure, implementing necessary updates and troubleshooting issues to maintain seamless connectivity.
- Security Oversight: Develop and enforce security protocols to safeguard organizational data and systems from potential threats.
- User Support: Provide technical support to users, addressing system-related inquiries and issues promptly.
- Backup Solutions: Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Virtualization Management: Oversee virtualization technologies, such as VMware, to optimize resource utilization and system scalability.
- Collaboration with Consultants: Coordinate with external consultants for specialized network configurations and improvements, ensuring effective utilization of their expertise.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science or a related field is preferred.
- 3 - 5 years proven experience in system and network administration required, with a focus on security, networking, and server management.
- Building web servers, application servers, DB servers, RDP servers
- Automation and scheduled tasks, to manage multiple servers all performing different roles
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or CompTIA Security .
- Understanding of current security best practices within Enterprise IT
- Experience with Powershell and other scripting languages
Hours: Full-time
- Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00PM

Base Compensation:
$32-$36 / hour
Potential Other Compensation (based on position eligibility):
Various bonuses, commissions, incentive pay, mileage reimbursement, etc.
