JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE : Assistant Cheerleading Coach (Hired through EduStaff)
LOCATION : Benton Harbor High School and / or Fair Plain Middle School
SUPERVISOR : Cheerleading Head Coach & Athletic Director
JOB SUMMARY :
The BHAS athletic coaches promote teamwork, and sportsmanship through athletics The Assistant Cheer Coach provides assistance in the leadership and supervision of the team and works closely with the other coaching staff members and administration of the school.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School Diploma (College educations preferred)
- Some knowledge of cheer or team sports
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to motivate students to work as a team
- Able to coach in an Urban School District.

FUNDING SOURCE :
If this position is funded using Title dollars, federal regulations do not allow a promise of employment beyond the current year of allocated funds. If this position is funded using state program dollars, the district is not obligated to fund the position beyond the current year's allocation. This position, at any time, maybe dissolved based on funding availability and data collected from a comprehensive needs assessment.
Evaluation :
The performance of this job will be evaluated by the Head Cheerleading Coach.
