Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Bus Transportation Specialist to join our team at Berrien County Schools Consortium. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey.
Responsibilities:
1. Operate a school bus or van, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
2. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of bus safety procedures and protocols.
3. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation experience.
Requirements:
1. Possess a valid CDL-B with P & S endorsements or be able to obtain such license within 30 days.
2. Demonstrate a clean driving record and pass the MDE physical examination and Drug & Alcohol screening.
3. Exhibit the ability to work a flexible schedule and interact positively with students, staff, and parents.
