What are the responsibilities and job description for the Silver Beach County Park Maintenance - Seasonal/Temporary position at Berrien County?
DUTIES:
- Responsible for assisting with the routine operation and maintenance of a county park facility.
- Typical duties include sand removal (shovel or sand blowing equipment), weeding and emptying trash receptacles.
- Operates machinery such as a gator or pickup truck and other general grounds keeping tools.
- On-site training and employee improvement are provided.

REQUIRED:
- Must be at least 16 years of age with valid identification.
- No prior handyman skills or experience required.
- An employee in this class is required to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis and is required to wear a department-issued uniform while on the job.

- General knowledge of the tools, materials and equipment used in the maintenance of buildings, grounds and facilities of assigned park.
