Secretary– Team Facilitator
Early Childhood Department
Start Date: As soon as possible
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Secretarial experience, office management or similar support role experience preferred
Performance Responsibilities:
- Call families and quickly build rapport in order to share and gather information about Early On, children and families
- Follow up with outside agencies for added information as needed (eg. Dr. offices)
- Use mail and fax to share and gather information
- Data entry using illuminate to open/create, review and approve IFSP’s
- Communicate referral information gathered to appropriate team
- Effectively communicate with Early Childhood staff both orally and in writing regarding timelines, due dates and additional content about child and family
- Coordinate with local districts for scheduling meetings
- Prepare an agenda and facilitate team meetings – maintaining due date spreadsheet and weekly agenda and notes
- Follow up phone calls to families with IFSP
- Meet regularly with program supervisor
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Reports to: Supervisor of Birth to Three
Terms of Employment: Two Hundred day position. Wage and fringe benefits as established by the Board of Education
