Purpose of the job:
Berry Aviation, Inc. operates a small fleet of two SA-227C Metroliners in support of the Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site located in Kwajalein Atoll, Republic of the Marshall Islands approximately 2,200 miles southwest of Hawaii. This position maintains and repairs Berry Aviations two SA 227 Metroliners IAW all FARs and company directives.
Specifically, this role will:
§ Ensures all tasks assigned are completed in accordance with manufacturer's manuals and/or other FAA accepted or approved data.
§ Adheres to all applicable FARs and the Companies policies and procedures outlined in the Company CAMP and Manual System.
§ Maintains the work areas, buildings, equipment and materials that are utilized for aircraft maintenance for which they are assigned.
§ Accomplish and document aircraft maintenance / inspection work assignments in accordance with the GMM.
§ Develop and use good work habits in regards to aircraft airworthiness, safety and housekeeping.
§ Perform Receiving Inspections.
§ Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Mechanic or Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
§ Current/valid US issued Airframe and Powerplant certificate
§ Successful completion of FAA Background Check
§ Successfully Pass Pre-Employment Medical Examination
§ Successfully Pass Security Background Checks
§ Passport Required
Preferred Additional Requirements:
§ SA-227 Experience
§ TPE 331-11U experience
§ Electrical Avionics troubleshooting
§ NDI Dye penetrant level 2 certification desired
Education Requirements:
Minimum: High School diploma
Preferred: Undergraduate degree
Physical requirements of the job:
Incumbent is required to: be able to lift a minimum of 50 Lbs., be exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions while working outside including but not limited to extreme heat, cold and adverse weather conditions.
