Description
Purpose:
This role is responsible for retrieving parts, processing incoming parts into their correct storage location, delivering parts to designated aircraft work stations or personnel, managing tool check in and check out, assisting mechanics with any parts discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
- Managing all pick and delivery tickets printed by our inventory management system at the front counter.
- Picking, labeling, and delivering all parts per the pick ticket and company policy.
- Recognize and prioritize any critical tasks that would affect company productivity.
- Process incoming parts into their correct bin locations.
- Assign bin locations to new parts, this may involve having move or reorganize parts to create more room or a logical organization.
- Maintain stock on non-inventory supplies to ensure no workflow interruptions.
- Monitoring/assisting any employees that come to the stockroom counter.
- Use the tool management system to check out calibrated and un-calibrated tooling to mechanics.
- Inspect all tools and equipment upon return for any damage or missing items.
- Ensure that the stockroom maintains a high level of organization and cleanliness.
- Constantly audit and inspect the stockroom confirming compliance with company policy and applicable regulations.
- Perform and assist in inventory cycle counts.
- Assist with local supply chain duties, which may include but is not limited to, shipping parts and receiving parts.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Required:
- Experience handing and accounting for inventory
- Experience using all Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Inventory control
- Knowledge and experience using inventory management software
- 2 years of aviation experience
- Undergraduate degree
Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to make logical decisions in high stress situations
- Ability to work productively alone or with little supervision
- Ability to follow detailed instructions or SOPs
Physical Requirements:
- Incumbent is required to be able to lift a minimum of 50 Lbs.
- Incumbent will likely be standing or walking the majority of a shift
