Job Title : Traveling Construction Sales Representative – K-12 School Projects
A well-established construction company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Traveling Construction Sales Representative to expand its footprint in the K-12 school sector. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on face-to-face client interactions, building long-term relationships, and generating new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Sales Development & Strategy :
Identify and pursue leads within the K-12 school market, building relationships with school administrators, facility managers, and board members.
Develop customized sales / marketing strategies to meet the unique needs of K-12 schools, focusing on renovation, expansion, and new construction projects.
Client Engagement :
Travel to schools, region service centers, and district offices across multiple regions to conduct in-person meetings and networking.
Build trust and establish rapport with school officials and decision-makers to position the company as a trusted partner.
Proposal Management :
Respond to Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in the educational sector.
Produce polished sales materials and deliver compelling presentations to secure contracts.
Marketing & Lead Generation :
Prepare case studies and project portfolios showcasing successful school construction projects.
Attend school board meetings, educational conferences, and trade shows to generate leads and network with potential clients.
Relationship Building :
Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business.
Administrative Support :
Update and maintain the SalesForce database to track interactions, opportunities, and project progress.
Coordinate schedules, meetings, and follow-ups in Outlook and SalesForce.

Qualifications Experience :
Experience working with K-12 schools or public sector clients is highly desirable.
Role offers flexibility and can be structured as part-time or full-time based on candidate preference and regional demand.
Skills :
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to present confidently to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, and Canva.
