Berry Corporation (bry) has an opening for a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Manager who will breed excellence as they oversee and manage the overall supply chain and logistics operations making us stronger together as they maximize efficiency and minimize the organization's supply chain costs. The SCM Manager will do this by collaborating with cross-functional managers to plan and execute the development of a seamless operational process while also managing subordinate staff in their day-to-day tasks, and monitoring vendor qualifications and performance to ensure they meet the company's requirements. Key Accountabilities
- Identifies and drives continuous improvement opportunities to streamline processes and enhance accuracy and efficiency in operations.
- Manages current and long-term forecast projections to meet inventory planning goals.
- Maintains detailed records, generates reports, and develops presentations to provide management with a comprehensive view of the SCM perspective.
- Builds strong relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers and distributors.
- Understands and interprets legal documents, such as contracts or agreements.
- Schedules and executes periodic evaluations to ensure vendors adhere to pricing contracts and agreements.
- Collaborates with diverse teams to identify problems and find effective solutions.
- Develops, supports, and monitors departmental objectives to achieve the annual Company Operating Plan.
- Manages inventory levels to minimize operational risk while optimizing inventory turns.
- Identifies and promotes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Supply Chain success and contributes to KPIs used for overall operations success.
- Manages supplier relationships and foster partnerships to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Supervises daily operations of the SCM Team, ensuring timely and proper execution of tasks.
- Complies with the Company's Safety and Environmental policies, practices, and programs, taking corrective action as needed and escalating as necessary.
- Participates in and adhere to all training programs designed to enhance HSE knowledge, safety standards, and job performance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma / GED equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required
- Master's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
- 10 years of experience in a supply chain role
- 5 supervisory experience

- Proficiency in data interpretation, sound judgment, and including appropriate personnel when needed.

- Demonstrated initiative in self-development, seeking increased responsibilities, and capitalizing on learning opportunities.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Analytical, planning, and organizational skills.

- Experience interfacing with internal and external business partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.

- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position in California is between $150,800 to $179,075 annually based on a full-time schedule. Please note that the annual salary information is a general guideline, and that annual salary will vary depending on your location and that Berry Corporation (“Berry”) will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope of responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considers when extending an offer. This position is eligible for short-term cash incentive bonus and long-term incentive bonus, excellent benefits including full health benefits, 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting, tuition reimbursement, 9/80 flex schedules, and generous paid time off.
