Responsibilities
Work from electronic diagrams, blueprints, schematics, job tickets, work request, written and/or verbal instructions.
Troubleshoot equipment and repair all electrical and electronic breakdowns.
Install, replace and repair microprocessors, replace programmable controllers, solid state controls, temperature controls, motors, gauges, and control panels.
Replace brushes and bearings for motors, tachometers and generators.
Troubleshoot and program control programs as required.
Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment.
Assist in identifying and solving machine problems.
Use electrical and electronic test equipment including but not limited to oscilloscopes, voltmeter, ammeters, meggers, digital meters, calibration apparatus, and laptop computers.
Assist in the construction and installation of new equipment.
Follow all GMP, safety and company rules and regulations.
Maintain necessary records.
Perform safety checks on equipment.
Assistant other maintenance crews.
Move materials as necessary.
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Perform other duties as required or directed.
Qualifications
Associates degree in applied science or other technical degree preferred, or 3 years in Industrial Maintenance
High School Diploma or GED
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Must have excellent attendance
Maintain a safe work environment
Must be able to work overtime as required
Must be able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner.
