Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisior - 8 hour Night shift
- Reports directly to the Maintenance Manager
- Leads the daily activities of the maintenance group within the maintenance department.
- Operates in a safe manner at all times.
- Troubleshoots all maintenance problems and issues related to the production process.
- Flexibility for occasional overtime
- Facilitates and coordinates quotes for parts through JDE
- Training of maintenance personnel on plant specific machinery.
- Any other duties and/or tasks assigned by management.
- Manages all maintenance operations within appropriate process guidelines and budgets;
- Oversees all cost control/justification for department, including purchasing of machine repair parts;
- Develops and implements modifications and improvements, recommending specifications and scheduling for new projects and process improvements;
- Schedules daily repair activities;
- Maintains preventive maintenance program and insures that these are performed as scheduled;
- Supervises and inspects repair and maintenance work to insure the effective, efficient and up-to-date maintenance and repair technology practices are used;
- Reviews and analyzes maintenance work orders to insure that proper repair was made and trends in machine issues are identified;
- Maintains work order system;
- Maintains and insures organization of part inventory
- Conducts lock-out/tag-out training as needed
Qualifications
Education:
BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills:
Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and leadership to peers and subordinates
Repair and Maintenance knowledge of injection molding, and assembly equipment
Preventative Maintenance Program development
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
Flexibility to work some overtime, as necessary
Preparation of cost estimates, budgets, correspondence and status reports
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and automated work order tracking system.
Experience:
5-7 years of progressive experience as a Maintenance Leader in a high volume-manufacturing environment.
